　　Short Plank, Long Needle

　　在一個(gè)樓房林立的地區(qū)，雖然每棟樓房都安有避雷針，但真正和雷電接觸能起到避雷作用的，是那根最高的避雷針，其他避雷針基本都是擺設(shè)，這就是“避雷針原理”。如果用來(lái)比喻一個(gè)人，最高的避雷針就是指他的最突出特長(zhǎng)，他的最有效的謀生手段。一個(gè)多才多藝的人，如果沒(méi)有一項(xiàng)最能拿出手的.技藝，他的多才多藝就只能是漂亮的點(diǎn)綴，沒(méi)有多大實(shí)際用處。

　　人非圣賢，所以人人都可能有“短板”，一個(gè)真正聰明睿智的人，應(yīng)當(dāng)盡量補(bǔ)齊自己的“短板”，如果實(shí)在不能補(bǔ)齊也要始終對(duì)其保持警惕，遏止其發(fā)展，千萬(wàn)不要讓其成為導(dǎo)致自己人生失敗的致命缺點(diǎn)。

　　另一方面，則要竭力打造自己“最高的避雷針”，不必事事處處和別人比長(zhǎng)短，而只在自己最突出的長(zhǎng)項(xiàng)、技術(shù)、專業(yè)上爭(zhēng)高下;不要當(dāng)行行通行行松的“萬(wàn)金油”，要力爭(zhēng)成為某一行業(yè)的專家、內(nèi)行.、權(quán)威、大腕。若果如此，“短板”不短，“避雷針”又極高，成功的大門(mén)便會(huì)一叩即開(kāi)。
