森林里有許多小動(dòng)物。一天，小兔對(duì)野鴨說(shuō)：“我跑的最快，我的本領(lǐng)最大”！ 野鴨說(shuō)：“我會(huì)游泳，我的本領(lǐng)才最大”！小兔和野鴨誰(shuí)都不服誰(shuí)，就去找老馬伯伯評(píng)理。老馬伯伯想了想，說(shuō)：“你們兩個(gè)誰(shuí)先過(guò)了河，再?zèng)_上山，最后誰(shuí)先取到山上那面彩旗，誰(shuí)的本領(lǐng)就最大”！
小兔和野鴨站在起跑線上，老馬伯伯一聲號(hào)令，比賽開始了。野鴨很快就游過(guò)了河，往山上沖，可是山坡太陡了，怎么也沖不上去，只好垂頭喪氣的游了回來(lái)。
