Santa Claus was born in US in the 1860's he was named this as he had a white beard and a belly, so he was named Santa Claus as this was the Dutch word for St Nicholas, Sintakls. Although the Dutch had bought him with them in the 17th century, he did not become an important person at Christmas until the Novelist Washington Irving put him in a novel that he wrote in 1809. This first Santa Claus was still known as St. Nicholas, he did smoke a pipe, and fly around in a wagon without any reindeer, but he did not have his red suit or live at the North Pole, he did however bring presents to children every year.
In 1863 He was given the name Santa Claus and bore the red suit, pipe, and his reindeer and sleigh.

酸：酸對(duì)我來說是一種批評(píng)。就像那天中午的遲到，使我非常尷尬，老師還特意講給我聽“美國(guó)人的時(shí)間觀念”，兩個(gè)班的人齊刷刷的.看著我，我的臉?biāo)查g比太陽(yáng)還紅了。
甜：甜對(duì)我來說是一種鼓勵(lì)。每次幫老師忙，是老師對(duì)我的肯定，是我對(duì)自己的自豪。只要老師說要幫忙，干多晚我都愿意。
苦：苦死了，為什么要制定加分扣分表，害得我每天都提心吊膽的過日子，稍不留神分就“嘩嘩嘩”地扣光了。
辣：這位英語(yǔ)老師，看似在三位老師面前，最溫柔，事實(shí)上……不提了。如果被英語(yǔ)老師捉到誰(shuí)沒完成作業(yè)或不合要求，“哼哼”，你就死定了，老師一定會(huì)大吼一句：“沒完成作業(yè)的到辦公室一趟，“獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)”吃棍子！”每位“仁兄”從辦公室里出來后，臉色都發(fā)白了呢！真替他們擔(dān)心��！不過沒做作業(yè)活該被打。
