為了把我們的校園裝扮的更加美麗漂亮，我們學校在植樹節(jié)那天組織了一次植樹活動。老師帶領我們六年級的同學們分組勞動，挖坑、栽種、澆水。我們女生就負責拿拿樹苗、澆澆水。呵!都是些新奇樹種，有小黃楊，有松樹，有棕櫚樹，還有一些不知名、從未見過的。于是我們幾個女孩子就圍在趙老師身邊嘰嘰喳喳地問這問那。其中有一種叫做“紅葉石楠球”，趙老師把它夸得跟一朵花似的，我卻沒看出什么稀奇。很快就把它拋到了九霄云外。男老師和男生們累的`是滿頭大汗，一身塵土。我們女生還是嘰嘰喳喳的跑去拿樹苗，跑來澆水。盡管很累，不過，看著綠化后的美麗的校園，我們個個都是那么的開心。
秋季開學時，我剛踏進校園，就被眼前的景色迷住了，特別是那一行“紅葉石楠球”。它頂端枝梢鮮紅如火，下部葉片亮綠。在三葉草的映襯下格外鮮艷奪目。我們的校園在它們的裝扮下更加生機盎然。
不知不覺又是一年植樹節(jié)要到了。今年植樹節(jié)種什么呢?對，就在我家院子里種“紅葉石楠球”!我把這個想法告訴了爸爸，爸爸說:今天晚上我們就開個家庭會議，你來做演講，如果你能說服大家的話就種“紅葉石楠球”了。我和爸爸擊掌說:“一言為定!”晚上我就把 “百度”到的“紅葉石楠球”的背了一遍，并作補充說:“火紅的‘紅葉石楠球’，不僅能美化我們的家園，更象征著我們的生活紅紅火火!�！甭犨@里我爸爸豎起大拇指說:“說的好，就種它了。明天一早我就去買樹苗�！�
就這樣我家也種上了“紅葉石楠球”。我相信隨著新農村建設步伐的不斷加快，不僅我家的生活會像“紅葉石楠球”一樣紅紅火火，全國老百姓生活也會更加紅火，我們的祖國也必定會更加繁榮昌盛!
