Dear,
Everyone has dreams. But what is a dream? In the eyes of the little matchgirl, the dream is the delicious roast duck, which is the warm embrace ofgrandma. In the eyes of deng yaping, the dream is to be brave, to be courageous, and to insist on the belief that never to surrender.
From an early age, I love dreams. I want to take a bath for nature, let theair do not pollute, the grass, the small tree straightened up; I want to be sunwukong, with a unique 72 changes. I wanted to buy all the books in thebookstore, immerse myself in the sea of books, and suck up their food for food;I want to take the time machine of doraemon, to tell the old children about mydream...
Now, I grew up, put on the bright red scarf, see the five-star red flag inthe campus fluttering. Ah! I found the wings of my dreams! A gloriousflag-bearer, raising the schools five-star red flag, and carrying the studentsbeautiful dreams.

夢(mèng)想的英語(yǔ)演講稿 2
Dear,
Good morning, its my honor to stand here and give you this speech about dreams. There I want to start my speech with two short stories.
The first story happened when I was in primary school, I wrote in my composition that my dream was to be a teacher when I grew up. Meanwhile, what my classmates wrote about their dreams was that he or she wanted to be a doctor, a scientist or an astronaut.
The second story happened at my first year in university. At the careers planning class, when the teacher asked about our dreams, one of my classmates stood up and said, “I want to be a farmer, because I grow up in a farmers family and I love to be engaged in agriculture.” When he sat down, everyone clapped.
These two stories happened during my growth process, from which I got my understanding of dreams. When I was a child I believed that a dream must be a big dream, but when I grow up I find this big dream is so far away from me, I know little about it, and I have done nothing to achieve it, so its not my dream. My classmates answer let me know a real dream is not just about being a great man, or doing a great , its about what you really want to be, and are willing to try every effort to pursue it.
Because what makes a dream valuable is not just about the result, its also about the process, the process when you are trying, when you are struggling, when you failed and restarted again and again, because of the process, dreams can be meaningful and become your wealth.
Thank you.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
It’s my great honor to stand here to share my speech with you. Today the topic of my speech is: The Pursuit of Dream.
Now let’s think of our old days as we were students in primary schools. Have you ever remembered that the teachers often ask questions as “what’s your dream?”, or “what are you want to be in the future?” and what’s your answer in that childish and fantastic age? Has anyone of you answered like this: “I want to be a painter”, or “I want to be a scientist”, or “I plan to be a police”?
A few years later, we start our new journey of study in high schools and become mature and practical in our mind. Then, have you ever changed your dreams? If so, what’s it?
But now, I think, most of us become down-to-earth and the dream is more practical than before. However, have you taken actions to pursue your dream? Are you working hard enough to make your dream come true?
As for myself, I have dreamed to be an excellent police in high school due to there are so many thefts in my hometown while they are seldom caught. Sooner I have realized how ridiculous am I and now I turn to realistic: I just want to be a translator.
How do I pursue my dream?
First of all, I try my best to correct the pronunciation and read the textbook or other English magazines such as: English weekly, English salon and the like. I try to do this day by day. Now I have improved my reading ability a lot and it also enlarged my vocabulary.
Secondly, I often do some translating extension and embrace my teacher’s suggestion. It benefits me much.
Last but not the least, I realize my dream by reading Chinese literature. Maybe you will say it’s what the Chinese major students should do. If you say so, you are badly wrong. For as an English major student, how can you know others well if you even don’t familiar with your country? On the other hand, it also benefits me in translation and writing.
In a word, I have already working in my dream. What about you?
That’s all. Thank you.

Dear,
Honorable jaduges ,ladies and gentlemen ,good afternoon !
I feel honored to be here ,giving me speech to you . Today my topic is “ the pursuit of dreams “
I would like to begin my speech with a short poem , entitled Dreams .Hold fast to dreams ,for if dreams die ,life is a broken-winged bird that can not fly ;hold fast to dreams ,for when dreams go ,life is a barren field ,frozen with snow .In this poem ,to some extent ,we can know the importance of dreams .
I am sure all of you here ,have your own dreams ,since we are in youth ,which is the golden period of our life ,full of imagination ,creativity ,enthusiasm and strength .We should have dreams .It can be our guiding star ,hanging in front of us ,lighting our way .When we feel puzzled ,tired or depressed ,it is our dreams guiding us ,let us go forward bravely .
My dear audience ,as a college student what kind of dream should we have ? Maybe you will say “well ,it depends “.I think so ,but there still exist some basic requirements and expectations about our dreams . We are young ,representing the future of our country . We should have a high sense of duty towards our family ,our country .we must link our dream with the demands and prosperity of our country .Have a great dream !
Just as when we see the collapsed school in the earthquake ,the poor children under the concrete and steel , besids sympathy ,I really hope that I am an engineer ,who can build the strongest and unshakable school for them . When I heared four girls of Shanghai Business School jumped out of the balcony from the 6th floor ,for their domitory was on fire . I really hope that I am a qualified manager who can take preventive measures to avoid the disaster ,and offer help as soon as possible,if it really happened .
In our youth,we should have dream and pursue our dream bravely .Then when we grow old ,looking back ,we would feel no regret for this period of life . Hope all of you here ,have your dream and through your effort ,all of your dreams can come ture !
Thank you very much ! ladies and gentlemen .

Dear,
I am grateful for the opportunity to deliver my speech here after 7-days’ preparation with my friend Jinly. Thanks to Jinly’s strong support in our work. I think it is my way of saying thank you to you that giving an excellent presentation to all my friends here.
The subject of our presentation is “YOUR DREAM & YOUR GOAL”. During the next 10 minutes, we’ll give you a brief explanation of these stuff at the best of our knowledge.
First of all, I’d like to spent 3 or 5 minutes on discussing about the dream. When we were 5, they asked us what we want to be when we grow up. We answered like superman, princess, or in my case, a sailor moon. When we were 10, again they asked and the answer was policemen, doctors and some other high-principled jobs. But unfortunately, we finally found our dreams unrealistic as we entered a not-so-good high school, did not-so-good school works and went to a not-so-good direction in our life. I guess, many of you have thought about changing your dreams, but finally felt at a loss again. Yep! We’re adults and they are waiting for a serious answer. Well, how about this? WHO THE HELL KNOWS! Dream is only a dream. It’s unnecessary for us to think over our dreams all day long. You know, dreams always change, and this is not the time to make difficult decisions. But what do dreams do? Why do we still have an urgent need of dreams?
Think about it: do you have had a time when you were full of happiness just because you have made an achievement that pushes you a bit to your dream? Do you have had a time when you insist on what you were doing even the tears keep falling from your eyes? That is the power from dreams! May I equate the faith and the dream here? As we all know, aims and dreams are far from each other to some extent but close to each other on the other hand. Just like the parabola and the number line in mathematics. But it is the dream that help us to map out our aim and work out plans one after another in our life. Just like what Howard Schultz, the founder of the Starbuck said, Dreams are like the stars----we never reach them, but like mariners, we chart our course by them. And I believe that if you have a dream and make efforts step by step, some of you may extremely finish the quantitative change on the way to success and reach the qualitative change!
I would like to finish my part by a tongue twister: Whether the weather be fine or whether the weather be not. Whether the weather be cold or whether the weather be hot. Well weather the weather whether we like it or not. Whatever you dreams are and however difficult it is to realize them. Reach your aim step by step and I believe your dreams will extremely come into truth!
Thank you for your lending an attentive ear to my point of view. Let’swelcome Jinly and she will talk about the goal, which is the other part of our presentation, during the next 5 minutes.
Forgive my stupid words and it’s my pleasure to answer any of your questions after class!
You have been a very attentive audience---- thank you~!

Dear,
Every one has his own dream. When I was a little kid,my dream was even to have a candy shop of my own .But now, when I am 16 years old, standing here,my dreams have already changed a lot.
I have got quite different experience from other girls. While they were playing toys at home, while they were dreaming to be the princesses in the story .I was running in the hard rain, jumping in the heavy snow, pitching in the strong wind.Nothing could stop me,because of a wonderful call from my heart -- to be an athlete.Yeah,of course,Im an athlete,Im so proud of that all the time .
When I was 10 years old,I became a shot-put athlete. The training was really hard,I couldnt bear the heavy shot in my hands .But I always believe that god only help those who help themselves.During those hard days,I find I was growing more quickly than others of the same age.To be an athlete is my most correct choice. But,I quit my team after entering high school because of a silly excuse.I really didnt want to stop my sports career anyway.
Today I say to you my friends that even though I must face the difficulties of yesterday, today and tomorrow .I still have a dream .It is a dream deeply rooted in my soul.
I have a dream that one day,I can run, jump and pitch just like I used to be.
I have a dream that one day,I can go back to my dream sports and join the national team.
I have a dream that one day,I can stand on the highest place at the olympic games. With all the cameras pointing at me.I will tell everyone that Im so proud to be a Chinese athlete!
This is my hope .This is the faith that I continue my steps with!!!
With this faith,I will live though the strong wind and heavy rain, never give up !
So let victory ring from my heart, from all of you. When we allow victory to ring .I must be the one!
In my imagination,Im a bird,a magical bird.I carry my dreams all with me by my big wings. I fly though the mountains, though the forests, over the sea,to the sun,the warmest place in the aerospace!
Every night,I have a dream,I see a girl ---smiling

Dear,
hello everyone!
i am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.
five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.
but one hundred years later, the negro still is not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languished in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land. and so weve come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.
in a sense weve come to our nations capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the "unalienable rights" of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds."
Thank you!

Dear,
hello everyone! it is my great pleasure to share my dream with you today.
my dream is to become a teacher.
you know being a teacher is a thing that is very valuable and very interesting. i suggest that it must be a great fun to be with children all the day. and if i am a teacher, i can teach my students a lot of knowledge. they might become stronger and cleverer because of me. that is a very contented feeling.
china is a developing country. chinese are not that excellent in their intellegent. so teachers in china might be very very important. they can provide the society with a lot of successful people, and make china a better place.
do you think that i have a good dream? i will work hard to make my dream become true!
thanks!

Dear,
Good morning !
My great pleasure to share my dream with you today. my dream is to become a teacher....
As the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coexist in our life. I don’t expect complete freedom, which is impossible. I simply have a dream that supports my life.
I dream that one day, I could escape from the deep sea of thick schoolbooks and lead my own life. With my favorite fictions, I lie freely on the green grass, smelling the spring, listening to the wind singing, breathing the fresh and cool air and dissolve my soul in nature at last. Simple and short enjoyment can bring me great satisfaction.
I dream that one day the adults could throw their prejudice of comic and cartoon away. They could keep a lovely heart that can share sorrow and happiness with us while watching cartoon or doing personal
things. That’s the real communication of heart to heart.
I have the belief that my dreams should come true. I am looking forward to some day coming when I am like a proud eagle, which flies to the blue and vast sky. Thank you!

Dear,
Everyone has a lot of dreams. Some people want to be rich, dreaming of being millionaires overnight. Others want to be famous, dreaming of suddenly jumping to great fame. I have a lot of dreams, too. When I was a young girl,I dreamed of being a scientist like Hua Imogen in future. However,I knew very well that I could not succeed without painstaking efforts.
So I studied hard in the middle school and college in order to attain my goal.
After graduating from, college,I found a job as a teacher. Although I was very busy with teaching,I never gave up my goal. I read a lot of books to get more knowledge. I made experiments to practise and apply what I had learnt from the books. Sometimes,I was so deeply indulged in my research that I forgot my meals and time. Now I have made great progress. Several of my research papers have been published. The methods proposed in my papers have been proven to be valuable for the solution of some problems. I am very happy. The ladder of being a scientist is still far ahead, but I have climbed the first rung anyway.

Dear,
My name is Yu Xiao Feng. Everyone has a dream,Now Ill talk about my dream,What is my dream? I often ask myself. Now I am a young girl with a new dream——to be a doctor. I want to be a famous doctor, helping the sick and saving their lives. Why has my dream
changed? Well,at the age of 11 I was ill, badly ill. I had to leave both my school and my friends and go to the hospital. Every day I suffered the troubles caused by this illness. I also saw some people who were suffering . I made up my mind to become a doctor,so that I can help the sick people and cure them of their diseases.
I want to try my best to help the poor treat an illness. I want to let them have an opportunity to receive excel-lent treatments for their illnesses without having to pay much or any money.
Ill do every bit to cure the incurable. I hope to see a world, where there is no fatal diseases. Im confident that through the joint efforts of you and me,man will put an end to his bodily sufferings and this dream of mine will one day be brought into reality.

Dear,
Good morning!my great pleasure to share my dream with you today.I have kept the dream in my mind for so long that whoever in the sun is able to live a happy life forever.
I think this dream is deeply rooted in the future. As we can see,we are now not far away from violence, poverty, diseases, environmental pollution and even wars. Most of people are in need of what they have never enjoyed. However,I still can stick to my inner most dream,as I still can see the bright lights in our future.I believe, there will be a day when those from the rich counties are really willing to share what they have with those from the poor countries;there will be a day when we are surprised to find that the word poverty has long been out of our memories;there will be a day when we are together to share our dreams and we will all contribute to making our common dreams come true.
I will not just wait but to take action to live in my dream.

Dear,
No young man believes he shall ever die. There is a feeling of Eternity in youth, es a reality .
Catch the star that holds your destiny, the one that forever tmit yourself to it.
Though barriers may sometimes stand in the plishments, as they are stepping stones to your dreams. Understand that you may make mistakes, but dont let them discourage you. Value your capabilities and talents for they are e true.
So dont think that you are neglected, or not understood, or not appreciated. zsuch thoughts are the thoughts of failure.
Dont pity yourself, criticise yourself. You knoinance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .
When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.
Thank you!

Dear,
Everybody has his dream job. I also have my dream job. My dream is to work for foreign tourists as a tour guide.
Why do I want to be a tour guide? First of all, Im an outgoing girl, and I like doing some exciting things. Maybe being a tour guide is the best choice. If I become a tour guide, I can travel all around China, and know more about our country. Then I will tell the foreign tourists about our colorful history. Second, I like making friends. If I work as a tour guide, I can make a lot of friends all over the world. This may be great.
Perhaps someday my foreign friends will ask me to visit their countries. I really like to go to their countries to know something about their culture. What’s more, I like singing.
Singing English songs is my favorite. I believe I will be popular with foreign tourists. Their trip will be excellent.
Now, I am still a middle school student. My job now is to work hard in school. Then I’ll go to university to learn something about being a tour guide. I’m sure I can.
